Why do you give to the VAF and support Virginia Athletics?
“Since I am only a few years removed from being a student-athlete, I can still easily remember what it was like to balance competing, training and traveling for my sport with the rigorous academic life at UVA. I was—and continue to be—profoundly grateful for my student-athlete experience directly funded by the generous donors to the VAF. Each textbook or even a meal on the road with your team was a small reminder of what the VAF is able to provide for student-athletes. I choose to give back to help carry on and improve on the legacy of UVA athletic excellence.”

What are your favorite Virginia sports memories?
“The last inning comeback win for UVA Baseball in the 2011 Super Regional final against UC Irvine is my favorite Virginia sports memory. The stadium was absolutely electric that day, and the fans never seemed to give up on the Hoos despite being down to the final strike.”
